is the offspring of the seven generation of the Yao medical current of traditional Chinese medicine. In 2003, she was awarded the NCCAOM Certified diploma of Acupuncture and became a Florida Licensed Acupuncture Physician. With over 19 years medical practice both in China and in the United States, she is specialized in the treatment of infertility, related conditions of pregnancy, fibroids, ovary cysts, endometriosis, PCOS, gynecological problems.

Dr. Yao graduated from Yunnan institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine of China in 1995. She then worked as a chief gynecologist and physician in the departments of gynecology, internal medicine as well as pediatrics at Kunming hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between 1995 and 2002. She came to the USA as an invited professor and instructor at Atlantic Institute of Oriental medicine in South Florida and has been teaching ever since 2002, Not longer after her arrival in the States, she set up her own clinic named "Xing Lin Holistic healing center" , in which she has successfully helped many patients to get well.

Ever since childhood, Dr. Yao has learned Acupuncture and Chinese medicine and during her medical practice over 13 years in China alone, she treated more than tens of thousands patients. She often worked together with IVF doctors, helping the patients to regulate hormone levels, nourish the uteruses, promote ovulation and pregnancy by means of acupuncture and herbal medications. Dr. Yao is also good at such cases as pain management, sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorder, chronic nagging cough and asthma, sleep disorders, etc.

Since 2002 up to the present, the courses Dr. Yao has taught at the Atlantic Institute of oriental medicine should include: Gynecological Disease, Diseases in the internal department, Pediatrics and TCM treatment, Chinese herbal medications and Prescriptions, etc. In addition, she has also worked as a supervisor in the ATOM's Intern clinic, helping to train out many good acupuncturists.
